both shows were great! Hank III definitely had more black tshirts than cowboy hats at the show, but i guess that's to be expected in SF. great energy in the crowd, almost seemed like a punk/metal show (which it does turn into after the country set). Mammatus ive seen many times and they're always great, ive seen better shows from them in cooler environments or better 'state of mind' for thier psychedelic shreding, but for a surprise hey-wanna-see-em-two-minutes-from-now situation it was awesome... im about 75 miles away so with normal flowing traffic you can get from davis to downtown SF in about an hour and twenty min. if there are special events or car accidents it can take 2 hours.
