I didn't expect much, but I'm still sorry to hear this. He has the potential to make a good record, but alas, he has gone the way of the corporation just as much as Gene I guess. I did buy a ticket to see the solo tour, which should still be cool as he claims he's playing "A lot of the 78 solo album and some Kiss songs never before played live...."

We'll see, but I am looking forward to it. Only heard the title track of the record and found it waaaaaay to Bon Jovi methodical for these ears.

I'm seeing Paul on 11.11.06...
Should be a great show he has the house band for Rockstar backing him...
As for the solo album it's like KISS Hot in the Shade era meets Fuel...
It's better than I expected and far better than Gene's.

Cool, I'm two days later on the show - San Francisco - Fillmore.

I'll keep an open mind on the album till I hear it. Truth is, I like his voice a LOT, and always have....especially since I kind of grew up on it. So he'd reeeeally have to blow an album for me not to find some good in it.

I'm still have to order Hammerfall (most probably tomorrow). Firewind impressed me a lot, I started to check the band because of Apollo but is a solid power metal album, ranking high on my 2006 list.

I got kind of disspointed with Meliah Rage, their comeback album "Barely Human" is a great piece of American power/thrash, but I feel the new one a bit weaker in comparison I was expecting more considering now the band is the original line-up of the debut minus the vocalist, but Ronny (the new one) kick ass seriously as he did in the previous album.

Let me know what you think of the show?! In the interview disc that I got, it sounds like there will be some surprises, solo stuff obviously, KISS but he also mentioned doing some covers....
