Scott And Washburn??????

the 3 guitars that are avavailbable are fucking awesome, pricey too.

its weird because i would assume that dimebag helped scott get the deal and then dimebag and washburn parted ways a month or so ago.

I've also been a follower of Scott's gear throughout my life, and it surprised the fuck out of me to learn that Scott switched from Jackson to Washburn. Also, Mustaine switching from Jackson to ESP. Alot of legandary guitarists have been switching around of late....Kerry King?? Even Eddie Van Halen. I guess it's just the way the guitar and music biz are starting to evolve around these days.

don't forget the big ingredient... $$$

Even after Jackson was acquired by fender, they still had the reputation for taking forever to fill orders. And Fender doesn't know what to do with the Jackson brand. They're just out to buy up competitors. Fender doesn't want the metal market, but they sure as hell won't let Jackson thrive and cannibalize sales at the mothership company. That's why you won't see the Adrian Smith style Jackson Strats from the mid-'80s.

Johnny did you make those comments on the industry on CNBC or Moneyline too. I wish we had Harvard case studies like this back when I was in school

Wasn't Dime with DEAN guitars after he left washburn? I saw those new Scott Ian washburns, they are nice as hell. But who would drop so much money for one? Even with the cool inlays it's totally not worth anywhere near that much money. You could buy a much nicer guitar than that for a lot less. Damn signature series are a rip.
