Hahah hell yeah! I remember my 1st twin deck. I could make my own cutom tapes! Man those were the days. I also had a portable boom box with crappy headphones that would keep me occupied on long trips in the car. Man I used to go through AA energizers batteries...........

i had one of those givin to me by guitar teacher,they were heaps expensive,i used to love maxwell,tdk as they were usually the cheapest,ive got 5 draws choc full of copied and original cassettes.

I have a few Denon HD-8s. Probably the best tapes I ever used. They were very hard to get and expensive. They made great tape decks and CD players as well.

I've never cared about quality that so much, so I was always happy to just use whatever cassette was lying around, or was the cheapest to buy. Man, I'd record on anything, even my sister's Bryan Adams!

I'm fairly certain somewhere in my basement I have at least a box full of unused Maxell XLII 90s. I used to mix my faves of bands for my walkman, because my portable CD player ate batteries like an old lady from Sheboygan gobbles down crablegs at an all you can eat buffet.
