If you practice you can scream for a really long time. You just have to learn how to exhale without getting all of your breath out in 4 seconds. It takes time, but it's not impossible.

so do i. it may just be my speakers, but i can hear it kinda drifting off very slightly then coming back. not a big drop in volume, but kinda like someone just fucked up slightly when they looped/extended it.

Same with the scream in Katatonia's "Brave", it definitely seems like it was touched up in the studio to go for the ~20 seconds that it lasted...it kinda drifts off in volume then comes back up slightly.
