Now for all those 'die-hard' fans of Amon Amarth then you would all know that AA was once called 'Scum.'

They formed in 1988 under this name and were a grindcore band with the line-up consisting of Themgoroth (Dark Funeral), Olavi and Ted.

Now under this name the band only released a single demo in 1988 before changing their name to Amon Amarth in 1992 after Johan joined the band and their music style started heading towards Death Metal.

Now the point of this thread is; I am wondering if it would be at all possible (although I doubt it would be) to get hold of a copy of that single demo Scum released in 1988 just for the sole purpose of hearing what the band sounded like just with those 3 members.

Anyone able to help?

I can help telling you that the demo is not from 1988, it's from 1991, but nothing else, it must be very hard to find on the net, mostly because if you look out for scum it will appear napalm's album.

Clint has it yeh, Its a cassette demo, so if you get a copy man it'll most likely be a cassette tape not a burnt cd.

I havent been fortunate enough to get that material yet, one day though!
