I have to admit that recently I haven't been keeping up much with metal in general but today I found out that the prog/power band Sea of Dreams has gotten back together again:

They released two albums back in the late 90's and I have the second one. It is a great album with a Keeper's era Helloween-meets-prog metal sound. The vocalist is very high pitched like Michael Kiske but still very clear and in tune with the music and very good in my opinion. Like many of the other prog/power bands from Norway (Spiral Architect, Pagan's Mind, Conception, etc.), the musicians are very talented as well. I hear elements of both very creative prog metal and classic power metal (which I prefer over newer power metal) in their sound. Because they were an unsigned band, they were never promoted the way they should have been. They would be a cool band to see at ProgPower VI.
