Searching for a convincing modeled 5150 tone, help a bro out :)

I got bored, I love the tone of a 5150, and I can't afford one. So I started fiddling around with Revalver MKIII once more and wanted to see if I could get close with RevIII, CurveEQ and impulses. Wanna tell me what's wrong with the tone and what to fix?

I think it sounds really good as it is.
Its not as growly though, but that might be hard to fix. ;X

Yeah, that has always been the main problem for me when using amp sims. I've heard some pretty nice growly tones from Revalver III, but never been able to dial in such a tone myself.

I like it too, although I'll have to agree with Notuern... I've spent 4 years trying to make the pod xt pro and various amp sims sound convincing and I always got the same lifeless, midrangey digital amp wanna-be sound. I have found a usable amp sim (you can listen to a clip I've made here ; http://www.softube.se/metal_amp_room.php?p=mar_sounddemos and click on the Full Band Sample by Thanos), which might give you a more aggressive sound (modeled after an Engl powerball if I'm not mistaken). Having said that, I'd never replace using a tube amp and a good cab with any amp sim.
