Selling amp to get the same amp...

I was thinking to sell my Mark IV wide combo locally, and pick up a Mark IV short head or combo on ebay that is newer, in better condition, and would cost quite a bit less than what I could get for mine locally. Sounds like a win-win.

What am I missing here in my logic? Are 2 amps of the same going to sound so much different that I might regret it?

Sometimes you get a few amps with different components that will change the character so to speak, but a Mark IV will still be a Mark IV.

I say go for it, people pawn 5150's the same way all the time.
