So i'm about to start automating this to try and sort it, and so far it seems to be on track for the best mix i've ever done, except for a few things

1.Something is clouding everything, and I can't figure out for the life of me what it is/where it is

2. I cannot get the overheads sounding good at all

3.I can't get the guitars to sit right for the life of me

so basically any advice is massively appreciated, 'cause I can tell i'm improving, but there's a few things I can't sort out for love nor money. Any advice on how to/where to automate would be appreciated too, as i've only realy done it once or twice before and had okay results, but nothing amazing

Thanks to mickrich for the tracks

Edit: The drums also sound pretty weak compared to what i'm aiming for, any advice on that would be amazingly useful

IMO the guitars are too low in the mix. Vocals sound awesome. I think the overheads take up a little too much space, maybe try high-passing it a little bit more? Also, if you want more punch in the drums, try parallel compressing!
