Hi Neverheads,

Warrel's first band in the 80's has "reunited", according to their guitar player Brad Poland.

Original members agree to unite for re-recording '83-'85 demo, plus never heard before songs.

Also follow the link to see new pics... just kinda unexpected, uh? Poland has also updated the SK page in Metal-Archives, so I guess he wants it to be known.

These re-recordings might be interesting if it's true, not that I am a big fan of the originals from what I heard, but Warrel's voice has changed quite a lot since that time... can he still wail like he did back in the day? It should be funny for him to sing these tunes again. I would also be curious to hear their original version of "Battle Angels"...

Everyone has grown and matured since "the day". Yes, it will be interesting. And, yes, Warrel's still got it. Have you heard the original White Rabbit? Also quite different.

As for "Battle Angels" I thought there had been an earlier version because of what's written on the SK website ( http://lightningchaser.com/band/songlist.htm ) . Thanks for clarifying. (I've just checked my 'Refuge' booklet as well)

But...it is interesting to note that there was an SK song from 1981 with the same title. AND, the first sancutuary song copywritten was "Battle Angels".
The music might not be the same but I'm guessing there's a seed somewhere that grew...
