Shadow Gallery - Room V

Its "progressive metal". Progressive Metal influenced by Kansas, Rush, some old Dream Theater, not cheesy but dynamic, with its own style. Shadow Gallery's strong card is their melodies, unbeatable, 2354325434 per album and all memorable and inspired. What i fear is that people wont give the neccesary attention that it deserves to be fully understood (as ALWAYS).

:yuk: Christian progrock :yuk:

I think I have Carved in Stone somewhere, if someone want to trade it for something.

I also have some other prog and shred-stuff (not within last 5 years) for trade if someone is interested.

:Spam:

I remembered reading about this in some interview and you just forced to search their homepage.

Are the lyrics of the band religious?

While the band does not sell themselves as a 'religious rock band' there has been attention drawn to some of the lyrics. CCJ, the bands principle lyricist, wishes for the listener to interpret these as he or she may feel. For the most part, the individual members are believers of the Christian faith.

And yes, they're not progmetal in my books at least.

wow, I haven't listened to this band in years.

Carved in Stone is freakin' good. Definitely the highlight of bands I discovered when trying to hear everything with the Magna Carta label on it

I don't care if a band worships tiny carved figurines of CT Thrash....if the music is good, the music is good, I just don't want preachiness.

I'd care if a band worships tiny carved figurines of ct thrash :yell:

Smoke crack and worship CT Thrash! I've heard the album, and it suffers from one too many ballads syndrome, but the metallic offerings are as good as anything on their earlier albums.
