Thats one hell of a first post you made. Thanks so much for taking the time to supply that link! Do you have personal experience with that website? I think I'll place an order monday for that Mackie. That thing has been discontinued for a while now, I didn't think they would be for sale new anymore.

how come you dont want to get a pod xt with a floorboard pedal like marcus suggested? xt live is quite massive, and i think if you do end up recording at all with the pod, the xt (not live) will be more desktop friendly if that makes sense?

Yeah it makes sense. The thing is I would also use it to take it with me for practise and live, and to me having one solid unit in a good bag just seems easier.

I must say, I'm extremely impressed with Musik-Schmidt right now. I ordered Sunday late in the evening...and this morning I got an automatic email saying my package has been shipped! Now thats freakin fast.

I still gotta figure out how to hook the outputs up right...I'm only getting sound in the left speaker when I'm playing stuff at the moment

never mind, I'm a fuckin retard. I now hooked it up to my headphone output, and voila stereo sound.

The next problem arises I hooked up the effects send to the mackie line 1, selected the right inputs blahblah but I'm not getting a signal. I did have my amp on standby, since I was told this was the way to go with ENGL amps though.
Would it do any harm if I tried it with the amp off standby (aka fully on)?

Made an extremely quick recording of my blackmore preamp. Its freakin 4 am for me...so I literally did this in 1 take in under 4 minutes total. Just showing its working....
