Smoke Dreams doesn't have very much. Metal Mayhem is the place to go. It's also on Flinders St, don't know the number but its about a block up and on the opposite site of the street in the Banana Alley Vaults opposite Queen St.
Of course, JB Hi-Fi shops also usually have quite a huge range of metal and very cheap.

And there's Heartland records, also in Melbourne. And if you're in Dandenong, you could do worse than going to Radical Records.
Radical has a good second hand section. And also an excellent second hand vinyl section. Heartland is great too and all Dixons stores have excellent 2nd hand metal CD sections.

There's nowhere in Brisbane that I'm aware of. I always have to go to either JB, although Skinny's often has stuff that JB doesn't have (rarer import stuff). Not that anyone cares about Brisbane here
