ENGL is A for Awesome.
Crushes the rectifier cab going by that comparison.

Nah, make a nice narrow 6khz cut on the mesa cab and it's great. Try cutting the nasty 1khz-ish tone of the Engl and it's still a bit ugly.

If I'm not wrong you have the Engl standard (not xxl), right? Does it mount v30? or V60?
Anyway they are both great in my opinion....I prefer Engl in this case, but Mesa probebly would be more clear in a mix

OT: (sorry) Poidaobi, if you EVER start to play around with Nebula, PLEASE post your sample/programs somewhere. Your ENGL V30 Higher Pres impulse is still my main "go-to" impulse. I'd love to hear that sound through Nebula.

My comments shouldn't be confused as "ENGL Cabs > Mesa Cabs". Totally not what I'm saying. Effectively everything I've head from Mesa Cabs recorded by people on here blow my shit apart.

Yeah, i'm digging it!! How about some impulses?
if it wasn't that much of a hassle.......
(I'm just not experienced enough with impulses to get good results I think)
