So after 9 months of owning it, I think I finally dialed a decent tone in my POD XT for both bass and guitar...

I'm sorry I'm boring you with the same old Enter Sandman lick I've recorded before, but I think this one came out sounding somewhat good compared to the other two, so please take a listen and tell me what you think! I'm really excited about it.

Both guitars and bass are L6 Big Bottom model... I absolutly love the combination of the DiMarzio Super Distortion on my Ibby with the BB model... gives it a HUGE overall tone, much like what I'm looking for!

Thanks for listening!

BTW, don't mind the snare much... I'm having a hard time figuring out how to get my snare to sound good without replacement on the Addictive Drums demo...

I'm diggin the tone, however, I find it a bit thin at times, maybe you could try adding another track on the middle or quadtracking it(don't know if you already did it).
Do you mind sharing your POD tone?

Yeah, thanks! I'm gonna try experimenting mixing the on and off-axis too... I think I've still got the dry guitars to re-amp...

The Guitars definitely sound chubby, but I think it works really well. Kinda sounds like All That Remains' new album.

Maybe a little bit more hi end crunch would be good.

thanks, Bob! I just replied to your PM, BTW! :)

Thanks Unavailable! Yeah, I dialed in just a wee-bit less low-end on the guitars to make the high-end come out a bit more.

Mick, do you think it sounds THAT midscooped? Do you mean on the guitars or on the whole mix?
