What's it made of?

I had pheasant today and I thought there was a really tough bony, gristle bit in my teeth. Took it out and it was a little metal ball. There were many other metal balls. My pheasant had been shot good.

Now, I can't help but wonder if in my wolfish way of eating I might have swallowed more bits of shot.

So what's it normally made of??!

acid-coated-metal-pelets, it makes it easier for the pelets to get through the bird that way, of course they have to b taken out when cooked. unfortunatly you probably only have a few more hours 2 live....

Personally, I pronounce it "Howell" as in rhymes with towel. But thats by no means necessarily correct!

It depends on the region of Wales, I've been called all sorts. High-well, Hugh-well, How-ell and some really weird ones that don't really make it in english phonics


And it is kinda neat having pheasant in your college canteen Had venison stew yesterday too... I'd be happy with sausages, but who am I to complain?

If you pronounce it "high-well" it's much better for taking the piss out of the Welsh accent. Just imagine that bint from Hi-De-Hi saying it.
