I think he means thats smoother midrange it has, rather than the kind of grinding midrange a 5150 is known for. Then again i am probably wrong haha.

From the sounds of it, I'm going to have to agree with whoever said the XXX sounded close to a Dual Rec

Effortlessly this amp can capture the sound of one.
