Should I upload my stems or not?

I'm being more hesitant about sharing stems or raw mixing tracks now. There have been 3 bands/artists that has claimed my music to be theirs. Even one band selling my music for their own benefit. So I have gotten more cautious about what I share nowadays. It's a shame since I'm otherwise a big fan och sharing knowledge and music.

Sick song btw! :D

Indeed... It's pity how a handful of ignorants can make the culture of sharing a risky business...

If all goes as planned, the EP will drop on 29th of September. I know for sure when I've sent the final master to get pressed.

Holy shit! Really? That's terrible. Seems like a bit of a catch 22 to me. I'm not suggesting by any means that sharing your stems the only reason why you've gained populatrity and endorsements. You've worked hard and deserve those. But you must admit sharing your stems is apart of the entire process that got you to where you are. Again I'm not saying that's the only thing you did, but I remember clearly that it was a great experience for us to get a hold on the raw audio as opposed to just watching a cool video.

It's a pity that there are so many dicks in the world. I have no concept of why anyone would ever want to pass someones work off as their own.

Its really a shame man! Few months back I went to one of my friend's place where he told me about a song he's working on. After listening to it, I immediately recognized it as one of your songs. Then I asked him, whose song that was...he said: "its a local band from my native place...isnt it kickass?"

I thought of letting you know about this long back but never had a chance....thanks to this thread....

Still waiting for the ep to drop too. Also wanted to know, what you guys use for the Portal 2 esque synth sound when the guitars come in on this song? Or how to create something similar to it.

It's 99 % ready, so it'll drop VERY SOON. I used like a billion tracks made with Nexus 2 and some of the Cubases own VSTi-synths.

Subscribed. I want in on this for sure!

I don't mind naming it whatever title you want, or keeping it strictly in dropbox. I think those are fair requests, tbh.

Since many of you seem to be interested in the project, I thought to bump this thread with a teaser:

The official relase date will be on 25th of November. I'll upload the stems around that time.
