There's not much more besides what's on the picture, except for my 4x12 cab and two guitars.

Nice dude, still using the Deliverance I see - what're your updated impressions of that amp? And what's the other (not pictured) half stack, your 5150 and another Splawn cab?

the not pictured half stack is my cobra and a splawn slant 4x12 that basically looks just like that one

i no longer have the 5150 around, sold it to buy an engl fireball actually...then oddly enough i came across the deliverance and bought that instead

the fact that i've kept the deliverance around should say a lot about what i think of it, i really love the amp more and more the longer i have it...i'm using that halfstack with my new band now actually, just running the amp straight with no boost and i'm absolutely loving the tone i get from it...it's also a beast when it comes time to record

here's a clip i did using the cobra and deliverance a while back, this was at a low volume so the amps didn't really get to open up like i'd wanted...

+1 to that, and what is your computer sitting in? Looks like a cat bed

Nah, it's not a cat's bed. It's just a polyester thing I got with my computer - it's better to have it raised up a bit and not snuggling with the dust bunnies. :)

My setup is rather modest, there's mostly guitar stuff in the rack:
- Alesis power amp for my passive monitors
- 6L6 loaded (all-tube) power amp for guitar, made by Garland
- dual recto / SLO100 preamp, made by Garland (it's a custom workshop, it's been discussed in my earlier posts)
- Peavey Rockmaster pre
- Kitty Hawk Quattro pre

And I can't make a decent sounding recording for the life of me.

PS: cobrahead, what a killer setup you got. :) What speakers do you have in the splawn cabs?

going back to school these days, still working two jobs, just joined a new band (after a year of trying to get something going), moving, etc.

i finally got back to where i can spend some time recording crap again, and hopefully will be tracking the new band sometime around november

btw, to the guy that asked...

my two splawn 4x12's have an x pattern of eminence manowars and governers in them, those are mainly for live/band use but i do mess around with them for recordings from time to time

the splawn 2x12 has a hellatone 60 and 60L...or basically one normal v30, and one 70w v30 with a slightly lower bass response (the speaker that marshall used in the mf280 cabs) that's the one i use for my recordings %90 of the time
