I just grabbed the updated Sheddage 2X and I'm having this strange issue with the audio only coming out of the left. I routed everything accordingly, the same as I did with the previous Shreddage 2, I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Edit: better picture of the situation

please...please god... fucking kill me

edit: Thank you, by the way. It's always something simple.

Okay, no. When I flipped on the Mono button I heard both sides but that's because I activated mono.

If you exported midi from say guitar pro, then the midi file itself may contain midi pan automation. Open your midi take in the editor and click the combo box in the lower left corner that defaults to "velocity". All data types that contain information are marked with a dot there. Look for "pan position" and delete midi data there.

That's not it - in the picture, you can see that his right track is working properly. The issue has to be with either track 3's send to the master or the master itself.

Maybe have a look in your master track's IO window in case there's something weird going on there? Alternatively, post the project file and we can have a poke around in it.

Here's how the 2Bus is looking. Nothing out of the ordinary here

Here's the project file if you'd like to poke around.

The strange thing is, when I load projects I'd done in the past with Shreddage and just replaced the old .nki with the new, everything works perfectly. It's only when I try to start a project from scratch that this happens. It doesn't appear to be a Shreddage issue, it looks like something weird that I'm doing wrong.

I'm noticing in your first screenshot that you've got the right track's IO set to "Parent channel: 3/4". I don't have time to test right now, but do you maybe want that to be 1/2?

You also technically don't have to "Send" the tracks to a buss. I usually create a folder for this, and as far as I know, works just as well as sending. I could be completely wrong here though.

You've cured me, doctor. There was so much 3/4ing I must have missed that. Thanks dude!

This is exactly what I do. The only time I touch the sends is if I'm using like a verb or delay.

Reaper's folder system takes care of the rest.
