I'm new to this and I wonder how I have to do it:
I've got a Studio Projects VTB1 Preamp I'm recording my mic with, I'd like to route the outputs to my usb audio interface which is a M-audio Fast Track Ultra (and also a mic pre, however I prefer the sound quality of my VTB1).
So the signal path is Mic => VTB1 Line Out Balanced => M-Audio Unbalanced Input => DAW.
I'm unsure about the balanced/unbalanced thing and if the route is the best to preserve audio quality? How should I connect the VTB1 with the audio interface?
