Problem is, Vinyl is absurdly expensive to press. We'd love to do it, but we need to know if we could push about 500 of them...

Do a kickstarter for the vinyl. You are right that vinyl is ridiculously expensive and you definitely don't want to get it made if the demand isn't there.Maybe just do a 7" if the full length LP doesn't work out? Perhaps a 7" split with ORCumentary

Not too well. I've got 16 days left and only $421 of $2,500 has been raised thus far. I've accepted that it's going to fail though, so it's not too upsetting.
