Silly lyrics question, but curious.

On Brave, this line:


"Brave, try the meaning of loss"

Is "Brave" a question? Should it be "Brave? Try the meaning of loss"

Seeing as I'm a small guy, I can't find any band shirts that fit me so I generally have them all made for me from my own designs. I'm making another Katatonia one with that on the back. Just wondering whether the "?" helps it make more sense...

I'm not sure. If it's 'Brave?', then that would seem as though it was a question to someon who claims to be brave. It would indicate that the songs protagonist feels as though that person is over-estimating themselves.
Without the question mark, it is like a statement, acknowledging the brave nature of those in question, but still challenging them to face 'the true meaning of loss' and see if they can remain brave in the face of it.
If I were you, I'd go for whichever nmeaning I thought was coolest.

I think that would make the "try" redundant then, although "Brave the meaning of loss" sounds pretty damn awesome
