Metal Gods Of Dragon City Fighting For The Hammer Of Truth With Nerves Of Metal (Please sing along to Iron Maidens "The Trooper")

Ive got an elf and a dragon too
Ive got a sword and a beard I grew
But when the crown of metal's in my grasp
Ill forge a sword so big it kicks your ass
wohohohohohohohoh
wohohohohohohohoh
Theres a giant fluffy unicorn flying high
A metal horn of brotherhood wont say goodbye
And when a giant dragon comes to stop our song
An elfy bard will dance and show it right from wrong
wohohohohohohohoh
wohohohohohohohoh
A wizard here with a beard so white
Casting spells, fighting for the metal right
Look above to the castle tall
If it had no bricks, it would probably fall
wohohohohohohohoh
wohohohohohohohoh
The metal feeling burning in our veins
We would get wet if it starts to rain
But nevermore will we be ashamed
We fight with brothers for the metal name
wohohohohohohohoh
wohohohohohohohoh

I know, I know, its groundbreaking stuff that no metal band could ever come up with :) Special thanks to Sydo for reminding me about the silly elves in the Blind Guardian thread :)

I haven't been touched like this by a song for a long long time.
It's not just a song, it's a statement about life.

Just keep the metal faith my friend, thats all anyone can ask :D

I forgot to mention, this and other excellent tracks will be available on my upcoming album "Mega Excessive Theatrically Assinine Lyrics"

Or METAL for short :) *Raises fist in the air and yells*

Gee I like the kids style even though I'd have had a few grogs , but as I quote ' Nevermore we will be shall ashamed ; classic line how long have you been writting foR Dio

Im currently fielding offers from Manowar, Rhapsody and Hammerfall to produce their next album, thankfully I already have the long hair. Anyway Ill keep you posted :)

Does anyone else think that I have too much time on my hands? When I read back some of the crap I come out with I wonder what the hell I was thinking at the time sometimes.........

I almost take offense to that comment! Sonata rule! At least they sing about other things besides the "we are so metal fear us and our swords" that soooo many other power metal bands do. Manowar are the exception cause they are actually half good hehe.

my comment was not directed at the band themselves I personally love the band. It was more at the people on the board and how they go on and on about their poor lonely broken hearts. I mean break out the violins PALEASE.

Hey what's wrong with "We are metal, fear us and our swords!" lyrics!!!! They're the 2nd best kinda of lyrics that exist after the "I'm a rock n roll sex machine animal in leather, headin down the highway lookin for a piece of action with red lips and fingertips" lyrics!

Sorry, I just remembered, both of those lyrical styles have to drop down a spot on my ladder...

#1 has to go to songs about heavy metal warriors of various species of rodents

"Where is the field to run, for our heavy metal hamsters!"

Ole ole ole ole, SPAAAAWWWNNNY, SPAAAAWWWNNNY!

I thought I was the only one around here. who wasted great chunks of his life writing song parodies. I humbly pass the torch to you, the people's new champion (bow, scrape, fawn, grovel etc).

Now whatever did I do with the lyrics to Where Beagles Dare? (written, of course, in memory of Charles M Schultz)
