Its a british thing, coz at one time you went to secondary school at the age of 11/12 and joined the first year, then obviously the second, third, fourth and finally fifth, at the end of the fifth you were given the option of staying in further education for a couple of years which were known as 'sixth form' or leaving to join the big wide world. (at our school it was only the rich barsterds who went the sixth form route, so i suppose it gives you an idea of what kind of girl they are on about, posh, frustrated and in need of some heavy metal action i suppose)
