slate 3.0 (kontakt installation)????

Ok this a tad embarrassing, but I can't seem to find where to activate the kontakt layer any where?? I've been on the 'update' and 'register' options none seem to work, any ideas will be much appreciated.

With regards to activation are you talking about within the Ni Service Centre app ?

Hey George, yeah it was NI. just got it going now, just missed a tab, ha.
now my main problem is not all samples load, as well as including the room ambience function. I have to search for the samples with the spotlight tab every time, bit annoying, maybe its installed in the wrong place??? anyone had the same problem?

My mate James had the same issue when he got SSD I ended up having to do a re-install for him because i could make head nor tail of what he had done with the files.
You could go through the install pdf and check you've put everything in the right places etc.

Are you updating to 3.5 also ?

I haven't installed 3.5, gonna do that after I got some where with 3.0. Its weird, I just checked the pdf manual, followed it the same, still nout really. there installed on my applications folder.

Thats pretty odd, i'd recommend giving Steven slate an email and asking about it.

Their customer support so far for me has been pretty good and they reply quickly too.
Just need to get 3.5 sorted out for myself n then i can get back to work.

I must say that i love the samples in steven slate, but kontaktplayer sux, its the worst interface i've ever used...
