I got mine on the iLok site months ago and it was only $30. guess the price went up.

In my case for example I use free plugins, or some I payed for but don't need iLok, and also I don't work that much, have my home studio to record my bands and some friends, so I didn't need an iLok 'till now

Same situation here...

I just snagged one off of ebay for $29 shipped though.

I think there's 3 of us not having an iLok, but as I see, one from Australia, another one from Ireland and me from Spain...
Dunno, I can get one when I make an order to thomann next week, so not much problem for me.

Ok i dont, maybe we should put people on a "NO ILOK" list below the updates of who is confirmed for FG-X, your offer is greatly appreciated Slate, your too kind

*EDIT* If there is only like 3 of us then its not worth the trouble im sure we can all afford the extra $40 at some point, i mean we already saving like $150 from the fg-x deal

I really hope this iLok thing doesn't slow up the process - surely the group buy can be established and checkouts sorted while everyone else figures out their iLok issue? Everyone should have one of these things if they're halfway serious about production, anyways.

about the ilok, we can store the licenses on our ilok web account and then download them on our iloks when we have them, so there's no problem for buying right now.
