Question to Slate fg-× users

I always have the Bx_Meter in my last slot after Slate fg-×. When i use the fg-x rms meter and go up t -8db maximum my bx_meter says that i have about -6db rms. After analyzing a bounced track in wavelab, it also says -6db rms. Its quiet clear and transparent for that loudness but i always tend to go with -10db at fg-x (to have -8db) because bx meter also shows me that i'm loosing about 1-2db dynamic range.

How do you guys go with fg-x and why does the rms meter in it seems to be wrong?

I don't mind the RMS meter in FG-X accurate at all, so I actually use the one in Pro-L (FG-X set to -0.0db ceiling 24bit no dither & Pro-L set at -0.5db). You might try messing with the meter speed to see if that helps. The only knob I use in FG-X now is the gain and adjust ITP to taste. I don't use the built in comp, transit enhancers or the dynamic perception but I've always found the meter to feel off imo.
