Slate Drums Mapping Question

hey guys,

i am wondering if it is possible, to change the mapping of the drums while still maintaining the possibility to use the midi grooves that come with the program.

when i use the map converter the grooves do not work properly anymore.

does anyone have an idea? some kind of workaraound?

What would be the point of changing the mapping if you've already got the MIDI data with the correct mapping?

it is because i use an edrum on which i cannot change the outgiong midi notes.
so i have to change the mapping to fit, and then the grooves do not work properly.

but i found a workaround in my daw in the meantime, so it is fine.

Just out of curiosity why are you using the grooves if you have an E-kit?

You could try the Edrum midi mapper here to remap your Edrum and leave SSD mapping the same.

Toontrack EZplayer would probably work.

Reaper has an integrated midi plugin that handles any on the fly filtering or change (might be a programmed one) so if you have reaper try remapping manually every note number to the correct one. Not sure how this would handle the subtleties of rimshots etc if your kit have them.
