i posted a question about a drum sound and some one said it was kick10 and snare 12a is that on the ex or do i have to buy the 300 some odd dollar one?

Why do you want to get those specific ones?

If it's for the Joey Sturgis sound, you can get away with the EX for kick 10 and the essential rock pop expansion for snare 12a

I think kick ten is the one with the word rock on the front head.
