Metallica
Megadeth
Slayer & Testament = Tied

Well, why Metallica and Megadeth? More melodic, sounds better, superior song-writing skills.

Playing faster doesn't mean they're better.

Metallica - First four albums are magnificent. New stuff isn't as bad as people like to claim.
Slayer - They have some great songs, but I prefer Metallica and Testament. I never got into Reign in Blood (except for Raining Blood, of course). Don't like their new stuff much.
Testament - Several excellent albums, and they got good again after their bad spell in the 90s. A feat which hasn't been matched by many thrash bands.
Megadeth - They bore me. A couple of good songs, that's all. Holy Wars rules.

Why Testament of course! They are the ONLY band on the list who hasn't completely dropped the ball with regard to staying true to their sound..
