i agree that metallica have gone from being a thrash metal band to a rock band, but how have slayer lost they're style of music?!
i mean Testament are now a fucking death metal band, not just thrash... and slayer have basically done the same sort of thing - they have just upgraded the music to a more intense atmosphere - which in my opinion, really works!

old metallica does suck... and i like megadeth.... they got my vote. Not because the other bands (aside from metallica) suck... i simply enjoy megadeth more.

Yup, I have both. Great albums but not as good as Master Of Puppets.
