Slayer rip off (mp3 inside)

I just wanted for fun, making a rip off of slayer, so I used the trusty combo: podxt and drumkit from hell 2

It's not so bad, but guitars has too much mids.. the screamer inside podxt sucks, next time I'll use my maxon od9.
What do you think?

actually i think you need more mids. slayer's guitar tone is very honky, especially jeff's.
you should turn down the gain, too....like 30-40% i'd guess. remember, they use old jcm800 2203 heads (loaded with 6550 tubes which have a lot less power tube breakup which once again leads to less gain) which don't have a lot of gain to begin with, coupled with EMGs, a graphic EQ in front of the amp for a midboost, as well as a built in emg level booster iirc.

Tones not too bad actually. Definatley too much gain, but not bad for the style
