seriously tho... slayer is boring as hell. Show No Mercy is the only album worth owning. The other earlier albums arent bad... but they are so fucking over rated. Not quite as overrated as a metallica album... but close. Anyone looking for kick ass thrash should forget about slayer... there are so many other bands that are so much better. Artillery, Vio-Lence, Testament, Sodom, Heathen, Exhorder, Kreator, Obession, Metal Church, Forbidden, Sentinel Beast... the list goes on and on. Not everyone with agree with me, but in my opinion slayer is way too overrated...

The songs on Haunting The Chapel are better. The reason it's not as good as SNM is because it's an E.P.

Hell Awaits is ten times better than show no mercy. Regardless Show No Mercy is awsome.

Everything after Divine Intervention sucks a bit (although Diabolous and GHUS has some cool songs). I think Divine Intervention is a very underreated album. There are some very fucking great songs on it, like Killing fields, Sex murder Art, 213 and Mind control. To me this album isn't worse than, for aexample, Reign in blood. And the production is the best Slayer ever had!
