Show no Mercy is best to me and Hell Awaits is a close second. Slayers evolution has been a steady and consistent decline.

Diabolus in Musica. Not really, Show No Mercy. First five are awesome. Also like Christ Illusion. Divine Intervention is boring and the rest suck. GHUA would be kinda fun if it wasn't a slayer album.

I voted for Reign in Blood, just overall their best album IMO.
Hell Awaits > Reign In Blood > Show No Mercy > South Of Heaven > If you care after this point, just give up.

It's a toss up for me between Show No Mercy and Reign in Blood, followed closely by Hell Awaits. Only albums that i can't listen to are Diabolus and God Hates Us All. Not only do i not like those albums, i think they fucking plain out stink. I also like Christ Illusion, their best from the 2000's.

Hell Awaits = Reign in Blood > Haunting the Chapel > South of Heaven > Show No Mercy > who fucking cares. For what it's worth, Hell Awaits and Reign in Blood are two albums I would consider essentially flawless.

Man, no love for Seasons in the Abyss? That was the first Slayer album I bought so it will always be my second favorite.
It's my second favourite too.
I'm surprised that Show No Mercy is being rated so well - I think it's just OK and would rate it after RiB, HA, SitA and SoA. I actually prefer the same songs on Live Undead that the Show No Mercy album - Araya's vocals are better and the slightly faster music suits it better.

Yea, i think i can say that Seasons is my favorite post RiB album from them ... although Silent Scream is just about as good as any track off that album.
