Sm58 vs Sennheiser e845 for LIVE use.

Got both. Sm58 has more body and Sennheiser e845 is brighter that is good for my vox tone/timbre, but I haven´t tested this one live.

They´re the same price range so I don´t think there´s a big difference.

Always used a 58 myself, very reliable, very consistant.

Personally I prefer the Sennheiser, never been a fan of 58's on vocals tbh. The 845 should give you less feedback aswell as its supercardiod.

there are lot's of mics around that are more feedback resistant then the old sm58.

audiotechnica atm41 for instance, same priceclass, makes vocals stand out pretty damn well.
