Snare&ddrum trigger

Did anyone here exept Mr.Sneap recorded ddrum trigger directly to DAW for triggering purposes?
I recently did it (will post sample tommorow).
What i actually did with this track later, just mixed it with eq and compression to other snare tracks no drumagogs sounreplacers aptrigazz and other shite.
Did anyone found it usefull?
Can bet my "metal zone" pedal that Andy did it as well.

Funny you should ask. I'm in the middle of mixing a project with a snare track recorded from a ddrum trigger. For some reason, it sounds good mixed with the snare mic track. It adds a nice "goulack" to it.

I do it all the time, mainly with Staff Drum transducers.

I always try to mix the trigger signal mixed with the mic sound to see what happens, sometimes it's great for kick, sometimes it's great for snare, and worked for toms a couple of times. But I always end up soundreplacing it, the transducer sound never made to a final mix with me.
