Lost In Necropolis
Anyone seen it yet? I am hearing absolutely nothing about it even though its finally in theaters...

Thought people would jump all over it.

And on a similar note... Europe people, how was Sunshine? US release date got pushed waaaaay back to September. I'll probably end up downloading it eventually, heh.

I've seen people saying how incredible it is.
It seems more action oriented than most of 28 Days Later. I loved the atmosphere of the first one. Very peaceful, yet eerie.

Yeah, I'm hoping its not an action movie, persay... The dialog and atmosphere made 28 days later so great.

I will hopefully see it sometime this week, or possibly next weekend depending on how I feel. Until then, I expect comments!

NO.

Alex Garland's writing > Getting cock smashed by warhammer > Any Film Dudikoff is in.

< Wishes Garland wrote 28 Weeks Later :(

Like he first it was very good. one of the best horror movies around. Also the music for this film was freakin genius. Gotta get the soundtrack when its released.

I fucking loved 'Sunshine', and I'm not even that much of a sci-fi buff. Although, it was a bit too slow-moving in places for my taste, there were moments where I just sat wide-eyed and slack-jawed, which doesn't happen often. There was a fairly claustrophobic, eerie feel throughout most of it, kind of akin to 'Alien' and, since we're on the topic of Danny Boyle and Alex Garland, '28 Days Later'. It's probably better to see by oneself.

Agreed. Well, the advert before I saw 'Sunshine' left that impression.

Sunshine was absolutely incredible. It had a stillness that paid homage to the genre, yet contrasted it with the blaze, brutality and beauty of the sun. It has the odd element that doesn't quite fit, but it's a stunning movie. They never overplay the meta-narratives it tries to explore and the covert impact once you've left the theatre is enormously moving. In short: I fucking loved it.

28 Weeks Later was also brilliant. I've never been so royally smacked in the face by an opening 15 minutes, it was excellent. The writing and direction was phenomenal, and I think I like it better than the first. It has alot of unique directional qualities, as well as interesting phases that display much skill and dedication to exploring the feelings and story. Pretty awesome.

Lives of Others was still the best movie I've seen this year, though.

all i remember was hearing Muse on the commercial. did the movie have scores or actual songs?
It has a score.

The opening scene was definitely one of the best scenes in movie history, and I also liked the film even better than the first.
