So I Have a Question

It's an interesting question. When I first got into Metal. I think I was drawn more to the raw energy and agression, than the darkness. Though in recent years, I've come to find the "darkness" quite compelling. I've recently found myself listening to a lot of dark, atmospheric music. Which seems like a strange musical choice at my age. One would expect my tastes to be moving more towards the melodic. Maybe it's a way of acheiving balance. I've been quite fortunate with many aspects of my life. Perhaps the sadness/darkness in the music helps keep me even keel?

In my workplace - yes, yes it is. I consider it a small victory that when I left work today, the place wasn't burning behind me.

It's 3:38pm over here as I type this. I should be at work, but I threw a sickie because the place pissed me off so much yesterday. Well, actually, I really am feeling quite ill today, but I wasn't feeling particularly inclined to fight through the 'urgh' barrier and go in regardless.
