Yes, the vinyl is of a very high quality and quite strong and not flimsy (I believe it's on 180g)... but most importantly, the sound is fantastic... this is the way The Mantle should be heard...

My package (like all others' a presume) packaged in two cardboard boxes (the outer one being capable of holding maybe 5-10 LP's) and 23981 packing peanuts... That's some mighty good packaging, actually slightly overkill like hunting birds with nuclear warheads, but at least the LP's didn't break

I just got it. Very well packaged, buuuuuuuuut.... the fucking inner sleeves have 2 long tears in each of them. Why couldn't they have sent the records outside of the sleeves like smart people do. Should I mend it with transparent tape?

I haven't received mine yet, but I ordered it from Grau and told the guy in charge numerous times to place the records out of the sleeves, if he hasn't I'll... be mad and do nothing I guess :|

I've used transparent glue and a black marker pen to hide such defects in records that I wanted to sell But the Mantle LP is not monochrome right? I guess that makes it a little bit more complicated.

Exactly, The End always has this problem with vinlys. Otherwise I can't complain at all, they packaged it super well. Two cardboard boxes with environment-destroying peanuts too!

I'm writing to Andreas to tell him to sort this out for future shipments. Just take the records out of the sleeves!! (It's not like it was sealed to begin with).

They print extra copies of the sleeve of vinyls in case this kind of shit happens, right? I saw a distro selling off a bunch of old ones for cheap.
