i had ET- it pretty much did suck. although when the ship came and picked you up, it was cool.

the standbys Asteroids and Space Invaders were okay. Night Driver was okay, simply because you could use the paddles for steering. don't recall many that really were awesome. i think my friend still has my system- loaned it to him a couple yrs ago.

I used to play those old games and wish that I were playing Nintendo instead... before my time. I was only five when Nintendo came out, I believe. My first video game system was a Sega Genesis... hard as it is to believe.

aside from the humble and innocent origins, this thread is a compendium of everything that is wrong in the human race.

if you don't like the fuck out of ET, you are a grimey assed square. you think cable stealing is the height of unamerican activity. go vacation in the vatican. fucking goddamnit.

That was combat. You had the tanks and the planes on that one. Raiders of the Lost Ark rocked. ET sucked. Vanguard was awesome (4 way shooters). Riverraid was cool. The Star Wars game sucked. Congo Bongo was fun. M*A*S*H* was a quality game. The Winter Olympics were fun but the Summer Olympics weren't quite as good.

i love it when nick gets sassy!!!!
i remember combat. even the BULLETS were slow in that game. also a good one was KABOOM which was my dad's favorite game.
pitfall was okay too but i really liked adventure more. and haunted house.

were the bullets in combat supposed to be like simulated long-range missiles traversing through air, and that's why they took so long? or just slow?

i remember hating parts of ET- like that stupid screen where the lab guys take ET back to the lab thingy. and those pits were annoying. the reeces pieces looked unappetizing as well.
