So the new Nile sorta came and went real fast.

So is it worth picking up? Am I going to find anything like Sarcophagus or Umlaut Slayer of Vowels?

I think it's really fucking awesome, it's one of the first albums I bought in a really long time. Naturally you might not be able to listen to it all of the time, but it's certainly worth it...

This album seems a lot more developed and mature...

You can't see it, but I'm making my unconvinced face.

Actually I just have to fart, but it's a similar look.

I love "Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren-Ka", "Black Seeds Of Vengeance" and "In Their Darkened Shrines", but I think "Annihilation.." is pretty crap. Keywords: Generic, uninspired, dull. It sounds like they've thrown together a bunch of songs that were leftovers from the "In Their Darkened Shrines" session and made a full length out of these songs. Their selling point, the Egyptian themes, have been stripped down, and this album is in reality just a run-of-the-mill death metal album that sounds WAY too polished and clean. I want my death metal brutal and unpolished.
