My favorite latin metal band is unfortunately hard to find here in America. It's an awesome power metal band from Chile called Six Magics. Awesome stuff. It's like a combination of Blind Guardian, Stratovarius and Hammerfall. Angra's cool too.

This last 10 years in Colombia the metal scene grows a lot! i think that is one of the countries with more headbangers in latin america.

Here (in Northern Mexico) are some good bands, but very few have websites... i keep telling the ones i know that without a website they are practically non-existent... sheeshh.
Plus, not only Grindcore is created in Mexico. There are excellent Doom, Symphonic Death and Thrash/Speed bands.

You could check my band, UmbraE. We have several mp3´s in our website from our 3 CDs so far. The third has not been released, as we finished it only a month ago, but you will find three songs from it there... i hope you like them.

I like more Angra with Matos, and "Temple of the shadow" (last angra´s cd) isn´t a great cd as I expected...

Matos is now in Shaman, and i met him last year when the play here with primal fear... nice guy!

A great band from Argentina is "Lord Divine"... and if you like stoner you HAVE to listen to "Los Natas"...
