After I had read an interpritation of ''The Night & The Silent Water'' that someone had posted on this forum (Sorry, I forget your username). I begun to understand why Mikael disliked this track so much. The interpritation told a story of a relative (I think it was his Grandfather, But i am not quite sure?) that was very close to Mikael & who had passed away & we find Mikael lamenting on his death.

This leaves me assuming that Mikael states that this is his most disliked Opeth track because when thinking of this track it brings back nothing but painful memories. I also assume this same reason works for why they do not play it live anymore.
