So, who picked up the Nevermore remasters?

I bought the self-titled and Politics of Ecstasy. I have the originals as well, but I have yet to do a side-by-side comparison. So far they sound great, though.

I got the self-titled because I didn't have an actual copy of it before. It doesn't sound vastly different to me, really.

i have all of them already. coolest was in memory by FAR. hearing early versions of 7 tongues, PASSENGER!!!!, and tiananmen man are amazing. they sound so much different, especially the drumwork.

dont really notice too much difference in sound throughout though. sanity assassin and passenger are probably the biggest differences throughout all the remasters.

I have the first album remastered. The difference in the sound is a touch warmer and somewhat richer. The instruments are brought out clearer (I guess that's a compression thing). Love the early demos. Very interesting liner notes, as well. It would have been nice to have the different magazine clippings more legible, but I can't complain at all, except that Century Media is barely pushing this, from what I can see.

The only Nevermore releases I don't have are the self titled and In Memory so I'll pick up those remasters eventually.

I already have Politics and love the production (so fucking heavy), so is it worth picking up the remaster of that too?

Sounds like the 'remastering' didn't do an awful lot unless you listening through studio quality speakers, but I suppose it's all down to the demo tracks and sleeve notes...

Well the EoR remix difference was night and day. Other than that I picked up Politics recently.. I don't have the original so I have nothing to compare it too but it sounds superb
