SOCCER NATION!

Porto has beat ManU before. Hard to say. Arsenal is still a question mark. Will be some fantastic matches.

Poor ManU. I didn't see the game, but first time they've lost 2 in a row (in premier league play) for a few years. Now the top spot is not so clear. I watched the West Ham game instead (I'm a fan of them. Despite what I said above, for mostly silly reasons, this is the team in the English premier league that I follow most closely).

Jonathan Spector got to start. He played quite well I think. I guess he is just back from injury , and was announced to the 22-man roster for the upcoming World Cup qualifying games. I wonder why Friedel, Whitbread, Joyce, and Yelldell weren't announced. They are top US talent starting on Euro league teams. But I guess that the US is only going to bring 2 goalies, so not Yelldell or Friedel.

UCL- i think we'll see

ManUre
Arsenal
Liverpool
Bayern

As for this weeks EPL....great results ManU done again and players getting sent off, Chel$ki getting done and then Liverpool absolutely dominating Villa 5-0.....that takes our goal diff past MAnU and Chelsea.....might come in handy.

all I have to say is , Man United prepare because Liverpool is going to claim both of the cups (UCL, Premier L) hail to the REDS !!!!!

Give Barcelona credit. They are a great team. They have one of the best players in the world (Lionel Messi, nonetheless the fantastic Thierry Henry), and are playing well. Should be some incredible matches. I think that we could end up seeing Barcelona over ManU in the finals.

I'd be delighted to see a Man Utd/Barca Finals matchup! Of course, I'd be cheering on the Red Devils all the way!:headbang::kickass: Can't wait to see this week's UCL matches!

April 7th I think. BTW AC Milan will be playing Mexico Club America in Atlanta on July 22nd. Likely no Beckham though since he will be with LA Galaxy at that point.

In an AC Milan team with Kaka, Pato, Inzaghi, Pirlo, Maldini, Zambrotta, Ronaldinho and Shevchenko, why would anyone care to see an overrated marketing piece named Beckham?

Because 7thSaviour seems to consider Beckham a god ;)

Beckham is quite good though. Overrated by the casual public, not so much by football fans.

But I agree, don't need Beckham when you have talent/stars like that.

This weekend is a huge weekend for international soccer. Many of the national teams are playing World Cup qualifying matches.

Well, he's got issues. hahahahahaha

Beckham used to be great. He hasn't been close to his former self for years
now. And even football fans think he's more "brand name" than player.

This weekend will be great! Brazil's gonna kick some major ass!! :headbang:
