2) Where can I buy their stuff? I know most of their albums have been re-released, two of them even in 2004, but still they seem somewhat elusive... eBay gives 0 hints, neither The End Records nor Firebox has any stuff. Please tell me how the fuck to obtain any of their stuff.

I love "Into the Depths of Sorrow". I've had that on backorder with Red Stream now since July 14th. Thanks BWD for alerting me, I just sent them an e-mail reminding them they owe me a copy.

A great band from Texas that I had the pleasure of seeing live a few years back at the Bang Your Head festival James Rivera organized with the German festival organizers here in Houston. Robert Lowe is a phenomenal vocalist. Superb doom. Where most doom bands practice ozzy era Sabbath worship, SA are pure Dio era Sabbath worship.

Have 'em all. Including the original Roadrunner release of Beyond the Crimson Horizon.

One of my favourite bands .. they are in the holy DOOM trinity for sure.
Ebay for the original releases (the first 2 - their best - are rarities). Their new album is supposed to be released soon.

WTF???

I obviously have not watched all of my Candlemass dvd.... is this on the second disc?
Yes, I'm not 100% sure if it's that particular song though, and it's not the full song. Don't forget to watch disc 2 with the band commentary audio track as well.

SA are fucking AWESOME. Especially the first two and Adagio. Their new one (WWOOOHOO) is due out at the begining of '05 from what I have heard. :kickass:

Into the Depths of Sorrow just got re-released about 2 weeks ago. It should be at my local shop. I need Downfall.

Why is that? Is it in English?
Why is what? Yes they talk in English I believe, if not it has subtitles. They tell funny anecdotes and give you more info on what you're seeing.

John Perez, the Solitude Aeturnus guitarist owns Brainticket Records [ http://www.brainticket.com/ ]. I don't know if SA material is available through his label, but there is a 'contact us' page there. Try your luck...

And this is a great band. Very under-rated. "Into the Depths of Sorrow" and "Through the Darkest Hour" rock, and I also remember liking their cover of "Hallowed be Thy Name."

yesm indeedy.

Solitude aeturnus are one of the best doom bands to ever come out, standing right next to Trouble!

Robert Lowe is absolutely one of my fave vocalists of all time.

You need to check out, last chapter, the first album, which had robert lowe singing on it as well...

long live solitude!
