Some brand new label work.

fucking gtrs are GODLY. they seem to eat up the rest of the mix though.

but mostly, i give you props for putting out a full-length with this quality in 14 days!

Thanks a ton guys!!

Awesome mix! :yow:
Have you thought of placing subbasses here and there?
Would really fit at some places! :p

There are one or two in this song, and some spread through the record but i don't really want them dominating the mix, so i have them down lower. Speakers with good low end, or cars with subs will be able to hear them well, but smaller speakers won't hear any sort of volume dip or distortion of the mix when the 808's hit.

guitars are soooo fucking sick!!!!!

PLEASE give me input on how you got that fucking sick sound!!!!!!!

You cant let us stay in the dark

That the guitar tone was actually a result of my landlord moving my cab mics while he was cleaning up the flood water in my live room(this happened right before reamping day). The tone on this record was the first mic position i picked when trying to find a new position

I think the biggest change in this guitar tone from my previous stuff was that i've started to grasp a better understanding of how much my "mastering" effects my mixes. I was able to adjust the mix in a way that allowed me to basically take off most of the processing i usually on the master bus.

This is awesome, congrats! The kick is not really my thing, but the guitars and the rest of the mix sounds absolutely massive! Congratulations!

sounds great.
the guitar tone is tits!
Kick sounds very fake, but with that guitar tone noone is listening to the drums etc anyways ;)
nice compression on the vox

Drummer is boring as fuck, but that's not your fault of course

Really? I think the drummer is great. He hits solid, plays simple so everything can breathe and has some cool little fills. I like his use of kick triplets and the mini china too.
