Metal Church recently released "Weight of the World" and I downloaded all of the samples and frankly wasn't impressed. I loved the Howe era (I'm an old fart) but I figured they were toast. A friend in another forum convinced me to listen to the whole songs so I downloaded them. It didn't rip my head off but I will make the purchase more than happily. It's solid oldschool powermetal similar to the way Metal Church used to deliver it. It doesn't have as much as the thrash element the Howe era offered, nor does it have the intensity of first era Wayne, but it's still a solid metal release.
